Such an important concept that many overlook Jason. One thing that I would add is critical applications should not just include those that generate revenue but also those that are part of your critical infrastructure like Active Directory. It is similar to a ransomware attack at a national level where taking down the medical infrastructure is as bad as if the power grid is attacked.
