Yes, each file system in a stretched Realm can have a snapshot policy attached to it, and the snapshots created will be accessible when the system is running normally, in addition to being accessible during failover as well. Snapshot policy management for 'stretched' or mirrored realms is near identical to snapshot management for non-stretched file systems.

Hey Aboveintellect!
What is the topology you are looking for? AC for File piggybacks on the AC service, so it is simply realtime I/O being syncrhonously replicated across the network between two arrays and no snapshots are involved. That doesn't mean the file data being replicated also couldn't be snapped under a separate policy and shipped to a remote target for rapid recovery. Was that what you were thinking? Let me know!

Hello,
Yes effectively my main site has two data centres at opposite sides of the campus, hosting two different ActiveClusters. My DR site is in a geographically different location, and I would like to replicate the File Share from the main site to the DR Site. It does not need to be synchronous.
Would this be possible?

Thanks, would be good to hear more as I can't seem to find much information besides the announcement.
