Here's a dumb question I can't seem to find the answer to

The customer support PDF says to subscribe in the Community tab, but that doesn't appear to work anymore.

hey richard.lawson - not a dumb question! in general- there is a at the top right of all of the KBs on http://support.purestorage.com|support.purestorage.com that will subscribe you to updates on it:

i believe you'll only see this option and view if you are logged in

Hmm. I'm logged in and I don't see that star. Is it because my account is view only?

i've only not seen the star when i'm not logged in. it's tricky on the VMware related KBs because almost all of them are public content. you see your name in the upper right corner of the page?

when i'm not logged in no star... maybe it's because there's not an email address associated with your account?

i see an email address for you, that shouldn't be it.

very interesting. can you open a support case for that?
