Hello Vancouver Chapter!

I am incredibly excited to step into the Chapter Leader role. After connecting with Briana and the fantastic Pure team at Accelerate last month, I eagerly jumped at the opportunity to lead this chapter and help bring our local community closer together.

As an infrastructure professional based right here in the Greater Vancouver area, I know how much talent and expertise we have in our region. My goal is to make this group a vibrant, valuable, and active hub where we can:

• Connect & Network: Share real-world experiences, challenges, and successes with peer IT professionals.
• Learn & Grow: Host technical deep-dives, industry roundtables, and discussions on everything from storage architecture to multi-cloud strategy.
• Socialize: Organize informal local meetups (think casual coffee chats, evening socials, or structured user group events).

1. What topics are you most interested in exploring (e.g., FlashArray/FlashBlade deep dives, automation, cyber resilience, hybrid cloud)?
2. What neighborhoods in the Vancouver area are most convenient for you to attend an after-work event?
3. Do you have any specific venues (like a favorite local pub or restaurant) that you would suggest we check out?  (Ideally, we need a place that can support a basic A/V setup for short presentations).
