Let me clarify... I don't recommend using vVol datastores as part of the HA datastore configuration. Apologies for any confusion.

It should have read "I typically recommend not using vVol Datastores as "Heartbeat Datastores" (excluded in the HA datastore selection tab)."

I do absolutely recommend using vVols for cases such as SQL Servers!

We don't use the vvol as a heartbeat either.

I'm reviewing VASA certs on both sides as well.

"Cannot find vSphere HA master agent" apparently i'm just making things worse...

Maybe disabling/reenabling HA would be a start?
