Hello All, Not 100% sure this is a vvol question as much as it's a VMware based question so I apologize in advance if I am asking in the wrong channel. We are adding a new Protocol Endpoint (PE) from a new array to a group of VMware hosts that has an existing PE from an existing array. Upon assigning the new PE to the host group it was assigned LUN 254. When looking at the Storage Devices within VMware we see the same LUN ID assigned from each of the arrays. LUN ID 254 from the existing array and LUN ID 254 from the new array. The naa numbers are different for LUN ID's due to the array serial numbers. However, will this be a problem to have the same LUN ID's assigned to the VMware hosts? If no, Awesome. If yes, no issues as we can manually assign a unique LUN ID to the new PE. Any recommendations on organizing/assigning LUN ID's when connecting the same set of hosts to multiple storage arrays? Thanks, Scott Griffin
