    Would also suggest right-clicking on a host (say host2) and choose Certificates>Referesh CA Certificates to ensure the VASA certs are on host 2

If Prod registers the VASA provider and generates the VASA certs, and then Test registers the VASA provider, it will overwrite the certs made by the Prod vCenter.
