Our DB team wants to upgrade our largest and most active sql server.
I would like to convert it to vvol architecture prior to the upgrade. Can it be converted live like a storage vmotion or would I need an outage window?

- Some folks with snap hourly, some daily, others not as frequently.
- Keep in mind that can recover to that point in time, but you won't be able to apply transaction logs to get to a current state. Example: Snap hourly - Can recover from last snap, but can't apply transaction logs from last snap to present. anocentino can likely have a much more in-depth SQL conversation
