No, you cannot connect snapshots to hosts or host groups. Instead you need to make a clone of each volume and you can connect those to hosts or hosts groups

is the CLI command for copying the snap of a volume the purevol copy command?

if i tab in the CLI i dont see the snapshot volumes listed

If a protection group has volumes in it, then you cant connect it to a host, right?
