Hello from England!

Hi to the Pure Storage community! I'm Dan Banche, a Systems Engineer in the Pure Storage UK&I Enterprise team, a Yorkshireman based in the south-east of England. With a couple of decades in IT behind me, primarily focused on data protection and storage, I joined Pure in the summer of 2023.

My experience working for/with partners, resellers and vendors has given me exposure to a variety of technologies within the data centre and clouds; IBM provided my initial foray into storage (TSM and SVC), followed by NetApp, Dell EMC (Data Domain, Isilon and ECS) and data protection as a service. All that puts me in a good position to appreciate the benefits of the Pure Storage data storage platform and its Evergreen architecture!
