Hi, We are currently using Mellanox NICs which support RDMA

That was traditionally the same case for iSCSI vmks as well, that you wouldn't want to set other services on those vmks. I'm not sure the specific vmware documentation on it, might be from their storage hub best practices. I know I've read it before, just can't remember where.
