Great POV here about the fundamental difference in building a data encryption framework to take advantage of the power of flash vs adapting existing encryption methods to flash media.  With PQC cyphers on the horizon, it will be interesting to see how those who chose the 2nd path ensure that their hardware encryption is 'secure' in a PQC world.
