Hi from Seattle!
I’m JD and I’m a Pure Employee leading our US and Canada based Principal Technologist team. I live just outside of Seattle (Lake Forest Park) with my family. I also get to occasionally co-host episodes of The Pure Report podcast with Ludes and anmiller. Outside of Pure I’m into a lot of geeky things. My wife says I collect hobbies. I host a Pathfinder tabletop RPG campaign that’s been running since 2019. I scuba dive. I’m a Ham radio operator (N8JD), and I play golf extremely poorly. I may be best known however for my tendency to get in front of a karaoke mic. I don’t sing well but I do sing a lot. 😝jwallace2 months agoPuritan48Views4likes3CommentsHello from Michigan!
Hi everyone! I'm Valerie, a Principal Technologist here are Pure Storage, and I have many more years in the tech industry than I care to admit, including stints at Google, Dell, and EMC. I focus on AI/HPC, automotive, and (of course) cloud while I'm at work; personally, I am married with twin teen boys, and a sassy fur baby. I enjoy gaming (I met my husband while playing D&D in college), walking with my dog, baking, and playing ukulele moderately badly. I'm happy to be here, and look forward to interacting with everyone in the community!Flashmaven24 days agoPuritan31Views3likes8CommentsGreetings from rainy Oregon!
My name is Tristan Todd. I manage the Unstructured Data Field Solution Architects (FSAs) that cover the US and Canada. I've been at Pure for 18-months and prior to that I was at VMware for 10 years. I've been very active in the virtualization community since 2004. This year, I'm pivoting away from virtualization and now focusing on file and object use-cases. My team are some of the smartest, most creative, and focused architects in the industry. Pure has a very differentiated approach to unified data services (which we sometimes call Real-Time Enterprise File). A big focus for Pure in 2025 will be expanding our support for unstructured data use-cases with our Customers and Partners. I'm based just outside of Portland, Oregon. I live with my wife and 3 rescue dogs. In my free time, I enjoy cooking/running/eating. You can often find me in your nearest major airport, traveling for work. I'm easy to spot, I'll be the bald guy wearing orange!19Views3likes1CommentRob Ludeman (he/him) - nickname "Ludes"

Greetings from the pollen-inundated Commonwealth of Virginia! My name is Greg and I'm a Principal Technologist over US Federal for a little over a year now. I've spent time at EMC(and all it's permutations to present day) and in the partner space covering just about every vertical out there. In my free time, I love traveling with my wife(the Disney Princess below), catching the occasional game and most recently steering into trade crafts. A good friend of mine has reminded me that as much as we work with technology, jumping from video conferences and traveling to events....it's a refresher for the brain to disconnect and work with your hands. And yes, like my shirt in the picture says....it's not the years it's the mileage ;)10Views3likes1CommentGreetings programs! (Tron 1982 movie reference)
Greetings programs! (Tron 1982 movie reference) I have joined this Purely awesome code community to further my knowledge and to help FlashBlade customers. It has been a while since I did some coding. Usually I am dabbling into something for fun at work. What lead me here was a Python REST API usage scenario where Macy provided the link. So here I am! I hope that we can have some fun and enhance my abilities while contributing to Pure. END OF LINE (Tron 1982 movie reference)kataylor4 months agoNovice I10Views1like1Comment
