Hello from England!
Hi to the Pure Storage community! I'm Dan Banche, a Systems Engineer in the Pure Storage UK&I Enterprise team, a Yorkshireman based in the south-east of England. With a couple of decades in IT behind me, primarily focused on data protection and storage, I joined Pure in the summer of 2023. My experience working for/with partners, resellers and vendors has given me exposure to a variety of technologies within the data centre and clouds; IBM provided my initial foray into storage (TSM and SVC), followed by NetApp, Dell EMC (Data Domain, Isilon and ECS) and data protection as a service. All that puts me in a good position to appreciate the benefits of the Pure Storage data storage platform and its Evergreen architecture! You will see me at the FlashCrew Pure User Group events we run throughout the year, and if you do see me at any in-person events, please say hello!dbanche4 minutes agoPuritan3Views0likes0CommentsLondon Calling...
Hi All - My Name is Ian Frith and I'm a Systems Engineer here at Pure Storage in the UK. I've worked in IT for 36 years with 15 of those in the glorious and arcane world of data storage (it's the arcane bit we're trying to change!). Always happy to share advice, war stories experiences - good and bad.ifrith6 hours agoPuritan8Views2likes0CommentsHello from Dublin

Hello! My name is Michael Floyd and I work in the NPI department at Pure Storage focusing on new Cloud Solutions and Products. My hobbies include BBQ and Blackstone Griddling, playing and coaching disc golf, and spending time with my busy family!6Views2likes0CommentsHello from Michigan!
Hi everyone! I'm Valerie, a Principal Technologist here are Pure Storage, and I have many more years in the tech industry than I care to admit, including stints at Google, Dell, and EMC. I focus on AI/HPC, automotive, and (of course) cloud while I'm at work; personally, I am married with twin teen boys, and a sassy fur baby. I enjoy gaming (I met my husband while playing D&D in college), walking with my dog, baking, and playing ukulele moderately badly. I'm happy to be here, and look forward to interacting with everyone in the community!Flashmaven2 days agoPuritan32Views3likes8CommentsHello from Florida!

My name is Eric Shanks and I'm a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer for Portworx by Pure Storage. At Portworx I try to educate people about how cloud native storage solutions like Portworx Enterprise can manage persistent data for containers or KubeVirt based virtual machines to modernize your application stack.7Views1like1CommentHello from VA
Greetings from the pollen-inundated Commonwealth of Virginia! My name is Greg and I'm a Principal Technologist over US Federal for a little over a year now. I've spent time at EMC(and all it's permutations to present day) and in the partner space covering just about every vertical out there. In my free time, I love traveling with my wife(the Disney Princess below), catching the occasional game and most recently steering into trade crafts. A good friend of mine has reminded me that as much as we work with technology, jumping from video conferences and traveling to events....it's a refresher for the brain to disconnect and work with your hands. And yes, like my shirt in the picture says....it's not the years it's the mileage ;)10Views3likes1CommentHi from Seattle!
I’m JD and I’m a Pure Employee leading our US and Canada based Principal Technologist team. I live just outside of Seattle (Lake Forest Park) with my family. I also get to occasionally co-host episodes of The Pure Report podcast with Ludes and anmiller. Outside of Pure I’m into a lot of geeky things. My wife says I collect hobbies. I host a Pathfinder tabletop RPG campaign that’s been running since 2019. I scuba dive. I’m a Ham radio operator (N8JD), and I play golf extremely poorly. I may be best known however for my tendency to get in front of a karaoke mic. I don’t sing well but I do sing a lot. 😝jwallace30 days agoPuritan48Views4likes3Comments
