I'm having a weird error with one of my vvols after repairing a vsphere-ha corruption problem. the vvol shows connected to one cluster, but not connected under "connectivity with hosts" > configure with the other cluster under the same DC.Solvedmjacobson4 years agoNovice I2.9KViews0likes102CommentsHi All. Hi All. Do you have PoSH documentation about how to copy volumes from protection group snapshots and attach the copies to different VMs in a vVol environment? I found your docs about how to do it with regular volume snapshots, but not PG snapshots.adam_sennott2 years agoDay Hiker I1.5KViews0likes44Comments<!here> I am facing a very weird issue. While using
!here I am facing a very weird issue. While using 2.x get volumes api with FlashArray I am getting a common volume called `pure-protocol-endpoint` even though I am not able to see the volume inside the array under volume listpratik_narode4 years agoNovice I1.2KViews0likes36CommentsSQL within VMware
If we are setting up SQL within vmware using NVME vvols and NVME controllers on the VM, is there a reason to have your data/log/tempdb volumes on separate virtual NVME storage controllers (for reference: https://www.nocentino.com/posts/2021-09-27-sqlserver-vms-best-practices/#vm-configuration)? Or do those benefits not really translate over when doing NVME storage protocols?Solvedlaroberts2 years agoNovice I975Views0likes24CommentsI've been looking for the past few weeks and I just

Is the concept of "refreshing" volume groups possible on an existing copy of a volume group? Let me rephrase. Say I setup a volume group (VG) of 24 volumes (PRD01) that are for a production database. I want to snapshot that group of 24 volumes and create a copy of it to repurpose as a prod support DB copy (COPY01) and another copy to mount on another server to get backed up (COPY02). When its time to backup the server again can I refresh the data of PRD01 group to COPY02?joshua_buck3 years agoNovice I851Views0likes18CommentsWe are building out a PureArray environment. Here's
We are building out a PureArray environment. Here's my issue: I created a volume based on volume on a machine1, when i tried to connect that new volume to machine1 it shows up for about 30 second and just disconnect. Does anyone know what the issue is? I'm able to connect this new volume to another machine without any issues.bradn2k14 years agoNovice I722Views0likes18Comments
