FlashArray//XL… Toy Building Brick edition!
The creativity of our marketing department is something special but this latest project from Canada crew Sangeeta and Principal Technologist Dan might just be my favorite. The build quality is exceptional and there are more than a few little hidden surprises; like the NFC chip hiding under the Pure logo. Looks just like a miniature version of our XL shipping box. Includes a removable controller and bezel. Incredible detail on the printed bricks. Fit for every datacenter, large or small. FlashArray//XL Building Brick edition.

Why do people using the Infinity Gauntlet only ever use it to snap people out of existence?
I'd have so many other uses for it. "Convert all of my traditional VMware storage to Pure Virtual Volumes" 👌

Hi All - My Name is Ian Frith and I'm a Systems Engineer here at Pure Storage in the UK. I've worked in IT for 36 years with 15 of those in the glorious and arcane world of data storage (it's the arcane bit we're trying to change!). Always happy to share advice, war stories experiences - good and bad.

Old Tech Tuesday: Superstitions
We're back for Old Tech Tuesday! This week, we are covering Superstitions. One of the best things about the analog era was that wiggles and bangs used to fix things. What's something that you used to do that you know in your heart worked, but now in retrospect realize probably didn't do much. Apparently, Nintendo discouraged blowing into cartridges to get them to work, even everyone knows it works. 🙃
